Mission

Whereas the Lord Jesus Christ declared in Matthew 28:18-20,

“All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age,”

By God’s grace, this Church exists to glorify God by making disciples of Christ who minister, mature, and multiply in Weddington and the world (1 Cor. 10:31; Matt. 28:18-20; Eph. 4:11-16; Rev. 7:9-10).

Vision

Whereas the Lord Jesus Christ declared in Acts 1:8,

“But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth,”

By God’s grace, this Church will treasure the glory of God in the making of disciples of Christ from Weddington to the world, as we intentionally advance the Gospel in five distinct realms:

1) The Community (Weddington/Waxhaw, South Charlotte)

2) The Counties (Union, Mecklenburg, & Lancaster)

3) The Carolinas (North Carolina & South Carolina)

4) The Country (The United States)

5) The Continents (The unreached/unengaged among the nations)
