FBCW Children’s Ministry

At First Baptist Church of Weddington, we seek to equip children with an understanding of God’s character, walk alongside them as they discover Biblical truths, and help them pursue a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.

CHILDREN ARE A HERITAGE FROM THE LORD

The Bible is clear about its view on children – they are a gift! At FBCW, it’s our hope and prayer that we will raise up the next generation of Christ-followers and Kingdom builders.

PARENTS ARE THE PRIMARY DISCIPLE-MAKERS OF THE HOME

The highest calling of parents is to disciple their children. As such, we seek to equip, support, and partner with parents in the spiritual development and training of their kids.

CHILDREN ARE AN INTERGRAL PART OF SUNDAY SERVICE

We believe children should be welcome and encouraged in our Sunday service. This is an incredible opportunity for kids to learn how to worship, pray, read the Bible and sit under biblical teaching. We do offer nursery for children 4 years old and younger.

SAFTEY IS A TOP PRIORITY

Our secure check-in system and thorough Safety Policy and Procedures (available on our church website) make sure that we maintain a safe and fun environment for all kids and volunteers.
