Wednesday Evening Activities on Tuesday

We will have our Wednesday Evening Activities on Tuesday the week of Thanksgiving.  We know that many will be traveling for the holiday so please join us on Tuesday, November 21st at 6:30 pm for our regular Wednesday activities.

 

Operation Reach Out Thanksgiving Dressing

Operation Reach Out  – “Lord of Harvest”
Thanksgiving Meal 
Dressing/Stuffing

We will again join with other churches in the area to provide Thanksgiving Dinner for folks of Union County. We are asking families to provide a disposable tray of dressing for the event held in Monroe on Thanksgiving Day. Please drop off the dressing at the church by Tuesday, November 21st. Our congregation is responsible for enough dressing to feed 400-500 people. We are looking for 10 large trays or many small ones to combined. Men’s Monthly Breakfast

All the men of the church are invited to join us for breakfast at Stacks Kitchen in Waxhaw on Thursday, November 16th, at 8:30am.  If you have any questions, please see Joe Pomykacz.

Ladies Lunch Bunch

The Ladies Lunch Bunch will meet on Tuesday, November 14th, at 11:30am at McAlister’s Deli in the Blakeney Village Shopping Center. All the ladies of the church are invited to come and enjoy the fellowship together. Contact Betty LaGeorge if you have any questions.

Special Called Member Meeting

There will be a Special Member Meeting on Sunday, November 12th, at 6:00pm. The congregation will consider a motion from the Ministry Placement Team to adopt the proposed by-laws revisions. Copies of the proposed revision can be found at the Connection Desk.

Men’s Monthly Coffee Fellowship

All the men are invited to meet at Starbucks in the Waverly Shopping Center on Providence Road on Saturday, November 11th, at 8:30am for coffee.  See Pastor Sam if you have questions.
