There will be a Quarterly Members Meeting on Sunday, April 30th at 6:00pm. Each Ministry chairman and organizational leader is ask to be present and to make a report on the recent activity of your ministry.
We are collecting empty water bottles (with lids) for an upcoming penny drive to benefit the Baptist Children’s Homes of North Carolina. Please drop off empty, clean water bottles (with lids) to the drop box located in the church foyer.

The Elizabethan Gardens Nursing Home ministry is scheduled for April 15th at 8:45 AM. Contact Sally Burroughs for more information.
On Easter morning, April 16th, there will be a cross outside the front door of the church covered with wire. Everyone is encouraged to bring cut flowers to place in the wire to change this symbol of suffering into a symbol of beauty reminding us of the promise of resurrection that we have because of our faith in the Risen Lord!
All the men are invited to meet at Starbucks on the corner of Rea and Tom Short Road on Saturday, April 8th, at 9:00am for coffee. See Pastor Sam if you have questions.
The Diamond set will meet for lunch Wednesday, April 5th, at Newk’s Eatery in the Blakeney Crossing Shopping Center. The restaurant is located at 9815 Rea Road, Charlotte. We will meet at 11:30. Call Frank Burroughs if you have any questions. Please sign up so seating can be arranged.

FBCW will host a security seminar for all girls (middle school ages and up) and ladies of the church. Everyone (no Males allowed) is encouraged to bring friends.
Topics will include:
- Personal Safety – Things to be aware of to minimize your chances of being a target for an offender.
- Dating Safety – How to keep yourself safe when dating.
- Internet Safety – How to keep yourself safe while utilizing the internet & social media.
There will be time at the end for any questions you may wish to ask any. Please see Laura Wayne if you have any questions.
We will have a Baptism Service at Living Hope at Ballantyne Church located on Elm Lane on Sunday, March 26th at 5:00 pm. Come be a part of this special service!
